For over 25 years, people have put their money where David Jay’s mouth is!

At the young age of 15, David Jay started his radio career working the nightshift and attending high school during the day.

Early success as an on-air talent continued, earning a drive home position at 18, followed by a move to a major market a year later when he became an on-air member of Canada’s most successful new FM radio station, CISN Country. At 23, he became one of Canada’s youngest morning show hosts.

David Jay also had an entrepreneurial interest that began with his DJ company that was always the life of the party! In 1990 he pioneered interactive Talking Yellow Pages and over the next 10 years, expanded with business partner BC TEL (a GTE company) to 8 cities providing phone recorded information to millions of callers annually, sponsored by over 3000 businesses. He was honored for his business venture as finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year in his home city of Kelowna, BC.

Today, David Jay leads a team of professional radio, TV and design talent as owner of Sold on Hold phone messaging and its sister company Media Button, a full scale multi media center boasting web, video, and design facilities and, of course, a full audio studio.

Even with his busy schedule, he always makes time for his first love, and what many would call his natural talent. He serves a select group of clients with his silk smooth voiceover services.
